It's a bit of cautionary tale in what not to do when applying for a job, but it is also a great example of why it is important to consider the elements of good writing in all that you do.
Notice how the author here appears to misread his audience, and fails to appeal to them appropriately. He does use colorful adjectives (ex. he can perform basic office functions with "terrifying efficiency"), but how effective are they in context?
